Our Purpose
Dallas Local Organizing Committee Inc. At DLOC, This Corporation is organized exclusively for one or more of the purposes as specified in Section 501 © 3 of the Internal Revenue Code, including for such purposes, under 501 ©
3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
Our Vision
Our vision is to provide a place where at-risk children and their families are equipped with the tools and resources needed to break free from the cycle of adversity. We aim to create a future where every child can dream big, reach their potential, and contribute positively to their community.
The specific objectives and purposes of this Corporation shall be:
1. Promote social, educational, spiritual, cultural, and recreational activities for low-income
families and at-risk youth.
2. Design and implement successful projects that improve the lives of children, specifically
at-risk youth, and low-income families by satisfying one or more of the following
objectives:
a. Improve the quality of life and living conditions of those individuals who live within
disenfranchised and disempowered neighborhoods through training and educational
programs and activities.
b. Develop a mechanism to facilitate the exchange of programmatic information
among organizations.
c. Provide scholarships to deserving students pursuing college degrees and.
d. Provide a platform from which the concerns and opinion of minorities can be
expressed.
